Data related to the needs of people's lives such as clothing, food, housing, education, health, security, and job opportunities are needed to find out how far the achievement of development outcomes reaches all levels of society. Publication of people's welfare statistics is an embodiment of BPS responsibility as an institution. in charge of providing basic statistical data as input for development planning and evaluation.

People's welfare statistics presented in this publication are sourced from the results of the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), which is a household-based survey. BPS organizes Susenas periodically every year in March and September. This publication of the 2021 Majalengka Regency People's Welfare Statistics presents data on the results of the Susenas conducted in March 2021 on 910 sample households in Majalengka Regency.
